José Antonio Varela has a background in the audiovisual area where it has been highlighted, along with his brother Jose Luis Varela, writing scripts for short films, feature films and television unit. He has made free versions, as is the case with his debut "The Class" (2007) award winner in the Latin American Festival of Film and Video Cinesul Brazil (2008) where he received Honorable Mention from the Jury.
