FASIL IMAN'S DEATH AND RESURRECTION OF CONOR
The story begins directory Fasil Conor fighting in an alley instead of the garage of Madison Square Garden. And the story does not pass New Yrok but in Washington.
The first flashback takes us to 15th century, with Conor leave of his parents before going into battle. We know from his mother that the father's name is Ian and Conor with them is a young child who was not identified, could be a sibling or relative.
Conor's death is similar to Connor in the film, with the difference that Kurgan is known as The Knight.
Cops arrive at the alley and see the body of Fasil. The suspect, as in the film which is Conor says he was just walking. However his current identity is not to Russel Nash but Richard Taupin.
BRENNA MORAN AND THE DETECTIVE
murder investigation in the intervening Brenna Cartwright, who is a historian who works at the Smithsonian and occasionally help the police. During questioning the role of Detective Moran is similar to that of Garfield, being rude to Conor. Fasil asserts that came with a Syrian passport and another Bulgarian man died a few days before the same way.
FLASHBACK: THE DISMISSAL OF MARA AND THEIR PARENTS
An important difference the film is the people's reaction to Conor for his resurrection. While in the movie the people sent off for violent people in the original script people avoid sitting next to him and do sing hymns in Latin, which is very irritating to him, and then goes to see his fiancee Mara. She tells him that his father has taken her hand, it was impossible to have survived an injury like yours and people had begun to murmur about magic. Connor in the movie also had a girlfriend who rejected him but unlike Mara was much more cruel.
His exile also is quieter, his parents dismiss lamenting that there were no other solution and Conor leaves his hometown.
BRENNA RESEARCH: FOLLOWING THE TRAIL OF RICHARD Taupin

Taupin, Richard Marshall. Born
March 16, 1945 in Church Hill,
Maryland. Received first driver
permit 1967 in Philadelphia.
Brenna Maryland decides to investigate his past. While at the home of Richard the view that an intruder has cast that immobilizes and questions. This tells you that The Knight is now calling Carl Smith, it was he who killed the Bulgarian and 4 of them came to the city. He also said that he spotted The Knight through the immigration documents of Liverpool and followed him to New York.
Dr. Brenna talks to the people called Kidell and discovers that Richard and his mother had died when he was just a drink a few days. However discover the trail of a man who had been asking these days, a certain Carl Smith.
Brenna visit to his uncle Joe is asking District Attorney's opinion. Joe says that many counterfeiters stealing identities of dead children at birth to usurp their identities. After arguing with a friend Brenna Dennis on what would be the reasons for Taupin to change their identity and who would be this guy Smith, from which no information, nor was a policeman who was investigation. Also notice the physical resemblance between Taupin and his father in a picture of the funeral, even recognizes the same scar on his cheek.
The police discovered in a river of the beheaded corpse of another man who seems to be the attacker Conor he faced. Moran comes to cross-Taupin when practiced riding in a club. While Brenna is working on the connection between William and Richard Taupin.
FIGHTING IN THE CEMETERY
Brenna and Taupin are in a small cemetery where the grave of William Taupin has been looted. Brenna says she knows he is hiding something and that that Smith also knows something about it. He tells her to leave her alone, to return to Washington and that can help. Then the Knight makes an appearance for the first time in contemporary clothes. While Conor wears an expensive suit ejuctivo, The Knight wears a leather jacket and Levi's.

Los dos inmortales combaten to the astonishment of Brenna and it seemed that The Knight was going to kill a guard Conor interrupts them but just get killed by The Knight. Conor Brennan flees and hides in a church saying that there will not hurt. When she asks only replied that "it is tradition."
FLASHBACK: ROMIREZ
In further flashbacks is presented to Sean Connery's character, only this time calling himself Juan Cid Romirez. Conor then living in another town as a blacksmith, 5 years after his first death and there is no similar to Heather's character. Romirez explains that both are immortal and that he had died years ago because of a wagon. Conor also describes the feeling feel immortal when they are near each other. To prove the immortality Romirez thrusts his sword into the heart
(we have a little interlude in the present where Brenna The Knight calls and tells him to get to talk about Taupin)
At 3 days Conor wakes up and cries because he believes it is the work of the devil. Romirez speaks after The Knight and tells about that push they feel between them becomes more and more when one of them dies. The Knight looks that power and so look for their heads. They can only die one way and is beheading. It is therefore important Conor undertake a new journey and learn to defend themselves.
BACK TO THE FARM AND THE ARRIVAL OF KAHN LING
Taupin returned to his old farm in Worstick, Pennsylvania, which was in the care of Mr. North, which highlights the great resemblance between Richard and William, not knowing that both are actually the same person.
Taupin In another scene recognized his old friend Ling Kahn, an analogue of Sunda Kastahir character with which he takes a drink in a pub and chat about old times and enjoy life as everlasting.
Brenna turns to his appointment with The Knight. After this does not appear decides to leave and then appears and begins to haunt her. Brenna flees to get to get home to discover that Taupin but inside it's all upside down as The Knight had been there before but is set in an old photo where it says Worstick, 1928. Taupin appears and tells him what happened Brenna and demands explanations. Taupin explains that it is best to go to the police and The Knight will look for him because he is considered a threat.
FLASHBACK: ROMIREZ AND FACTORY LIFE
Romirez trains Conor and tells you about the concept of Quickening, although the script never calls him this way:

also explains that the power they possess is shared between them and some have more than others, as is the case of Conor and The Knight.
ROMIREZ

Some,like you and he, have more. Much
more.
As in the film, a day that Conor was out The Knight appears and confronts Romirez and kills him. When Conor is back home with his friend's head and cries.
INVESTIGATION CONTINUES
Brenna still assimilating all that happened when he discovers that his notebook was stolen by Detective Moran, who tells him there are witnesses who have seen his car and the Taupin near the cemetery where they had killed the guard.
In Worstick Conor has a nightmare where you're attacked several skeletons. Brenna arrives at the farm and tells now she is a suspect. Conor looks at your desk all documents and certificates and she tells how expensive Brenna will spend all his property to a new identity and that after all away she can talk about 2LO bad "was that as Mr. Taupin.
While police use the information that Brenna had written in his notebook and check the records it had discovered Taupin, and as he was not the real Richard.
FLASHBACK: THE IMMORTAL YOUTH
This flashback did not survive in the final script of the film. It tells how Conor lived in France as the Mayor Dupont in the 18 th century. There he meets a young immortal called Mullet. Conor / Dupont befriends him the same way that Mullet Romirez with him but he refuses and says that ultimately doomed to kill themselves. Conor both combat and defeats him by cutting off the arms and finally his head.
In a cathedral Conor / Dupont reminds Mullet and is observed by The Knight, which also saw at the time and Conor commented on how he has become as ambitious as he. Both discuss what happened and Romirez. Both were fired but before The Knight says that basically he is your only friend, the only thing he understands, and will meet again soon.
(we have another interlude where Conor shared this time with Brenna and the grandson of Mr. North, which makes him remember his father, died centuries ago)
FLASHBACK: KATHERINE
Here again we have a flashback that does not appear in the film, in which Conor flirts with a woman named Katherine sometime in the 19 th century. A young man in love with her appears and tells Katherine to stay away from him, which is a dangerous person who apparently frequent and dangerous people who know who keeps his sword in his bed. Conor and the young are given a few knocks but are interrupted by her and the boy end up yelling that he is not who she thinks it is. Katherine tells Conor do not care who you are or where you come from, that she still loves him equally.
THE LEGACY OF WILLIAM Taupin
Brenna and Taupin go to a party in the auditorium of town where many residents are gathered. Some older people are astonished to see the physical resemblance between Richard and "father" and Mr. North explains that many people do not keep sympathy for William Taupin years ago because there were several deaths including of two unlikely that the rumors pointed to him and when he knew he had killed was a relief for many.
As they dance Brenna tells Conor that actually did not supplant the identity of her child but a lonely girl to I had known when she died and buried with his name. Brenna then realizes that in this case Richard must have at least 70 years.
Conor Brennan leads to the farm and taught a room where he keeps all that accumulated over the centuries, making it almost a museum, and tells its true origins.
TAUPIN
I was born Conor MacLeod in the
village of Ardvrek on the High-
land plain of Strathnaver in the
clan of MacLeod under the King
of Scotland. On the eleventh of
December, 1408.
TAUPIN
I have served in the armies of
twelve nations, married nine
Women, thirty-eight fathered

(It is interesting to note that in the script tells us that immortal I have children and that Conor had so far 38)
Both discuss duels between immortals and Brenna he complains all the innocent lives that died because of Conor and The Knight on his way to kill one another. Conor tries to reassure her and tells her he never would hurt and eventually the two are kissing and sleeping together.
(It's funny how the movie was a lighter version of the scene, Connor confesses his secret, he proves his immortality by inserting a knife and then just kissing and sleeping together . In the original story you Brenna criticizes all these deaths but in the end I just forgiving, but it is noteworthy that in the movie one innocent person dies because of Connor)
FLASHBACK: THE BURIAL
Go back to the time of Connor and Katherine but several decades later. Conor attends the funeral of one of his children and meets his former wife, Katherine, who was then about 60 years, and their 2 remaining children whose ages exceed and Conor. Katherine can not believe that Conor appear there and this tells you just owed it to his son. Her children are and she confesses that that young man with her is her real father.
THE FINAL OUTCOME
The Knight kidnaps Brenna after cause more deaths and both are in the Jefferson Memorial. As in the film both fight but in the original story Detective Moran makes an appearance, facing The Knight without knowing that the bullet wounds do not do anything and ends up dying by the sword of the immortal.
Conor gets beat The Knight and screams of pain that finally is the last. Conor can not stand the pressure and told Brenna to run, that can not handle it and that would destroy her and everyone raises his sword and threat.
Days later sees Brenna Taupin's house is for sale and no traces of the last immortal. Sitting in front of the typewriter think about what you gonna do when Conor suddenly appears. Macleod said he can not tell what will happen, if you will die tomorrow morning or at 10000, but it can only promise a time, maybe two, but wondered if a love time can be worth a lifetime.
